During my 20-plus year career, I have indexed dozens of titles in these areas. Developed and taught workshops on indexing of books on gardening, natural history, and the environment. Authored articles on indexing of environmental and natural history titles and plant names. I am a certified California Naturalist. Background includes many years’ work and study with watershed conservation groups; I am especially familiar with watershed issues including fisheries, stream dynamics, and hydrology. Widely read in other environmental topics and in natural history. Avid hiker, fisherman, camper, and observer of flora and fauna. Longstanding interests in gardening, native plants, sustainable agriculture, agroecology and ethnobotany. Thorough knowledge of scientific nomenclature and familiarity with Latin.
